The Hyundai Motor Company was founded in 1967 in South Korea. Kia was founded at the same time and later became a subsidiary of Hyundai Motors. In 2015, The Hyundai Motor Group created it's luxury vehicle division and named it Genesis Motor. The South Korean automaker(s) were commonly known as cheap and unreliable in the USA. In 2011, sales grew tremendously and they became the fourth largest automaker in the world. Now, Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis are seen all over the United States.
